Before you start:

  • Charge the light — plug it in, and you should see a red or amber LED.
  • Switch Bluetooth on.
  • Switch Location / GPS on. Android requires this just to scan for Bluetooth (see: Why the app needs location permission).

Pairing steps:

  1. Open the See.Sense app and sign in (or create an account).
  2. Tap Add Device and follow the on-screen prompts.
  3. Give the light a firm shake to wake it. ICON, ICON2 and ICON3 go to sleep after about three minutes.
  4. Keep the phone within arm's length of the light for the first pairing.
  5. When your light appears in the app, tap it to connect.

If the light doesn't appear:

  • Close and reopen the app.
  • Check that Bluetooth, Location and (on Android 12+) Nearby Devices are all allowed.
  • See: I can't connect to my lights.
