Crash Alerts use the light's motion sensor to detect a probable crash. If one is detected, See.Sense sends an SMS from our servers to your nominated emergency contact, including your last known location. A countdown gives you a chance to cancel a false alarm before the SMS goes out.

Before you start:

  • Your light is paired and connected to the app — see How To Connect Your Light To The App.
  • You have permission from the person you'd like as your emergency contact. You can set one contact.

To set up your emergency contact:

  1. Open the See.Sense app.
  2. Go to My Rides.
  3. Find Crash Alerts.
  4. Add the name and mobile number of your emergency contact.
  5. Save.

During a ride:

If a crash is detected, the app shows a countdown screen. Tap to cancel if you're OK. If the countdown runs out, See.Sense sends the SMS with your last known location.
